Workspaces

Workspaces — separate work from life

Create as many workspaces as you need. Each one is a complete Todrise with its own inbox, notes, chats, todos, and files.

A workspace is a complete, self-contained Todrise. Create one for work, one for personal life, one per side project — whatever split fits you. Nothing leaks from one workspace into another, so meeting notes never mix with your journal.

Each workspace contains

  • Inbox — its own capture net.
  • Notes — its own notes and links.
  • AI chats — its own conversations and assistants.
  • Todos — its own tasks, perspectives, and focus stats.
  • Files — its own attachments and trash bin.

Create and switch

  • Open the Workspaces switcher to see every workspace — the current one is marked, and each shows when it was last used.
  • New Workspace — give it a name and an icon, and it is ready.
  • If a chat reply or a Pomodoro session is still running, Todrise asks before switching.
  • Manage Workspaces — rename, change the icon, export or import a workspace as a file, or delete one you no longer need.

Good ways to split

  • Work vs personal — the classic split.
  • Per client or per project — each keeps its own notes and todos.
  • Shared device — one workspace per person.
