Where files come from

No matter where they enter, they all land in Files.

• Drag an image into a Note.
• Paste a file into Inbox.
• Upload an attachment in Ask AI.
• On desktop, drag a file onto the Files tab.
• On mobile, share into Todrise via the system share sheet.

It remembers who used it

Each file shows a small badge — "referenced by 3 notes, 1 task." Click the badge to jump straight to the reference. Which means:

• No accidental deletes — a file used by some note cannot be removed.
• Findable — wonder why you saved it? One click tells you.
• Cleanable — files nobody uses can be cleared with confidence.

Soft delete

Deleting sends a file to the trash bin first. From there it can be restored. Even on permanent delete, Todrise double-checks "is this really not in use?" before letting go. Things in use can never be deleted — that is the Todrise promise.
